You need people in your life whom you truly care about and who genuinely care about you in return. Life becomes more meaningful when you live for others. Sadly, many people go through life without ever feeling that joy and never understand what is missing.

My father taught me to never, ever accept the barriers, limitations and burdens that other people will use to try to keep me “in my place”. In other words, to be brave and strong enough to create my own future… the future I want and deserve.

My old man drilled that into me too. Don’t ever let someone else’s fear or limits become yours. You want something, you fight for it, build it, bleed for it if you have to. This life is yours. Take the damn wheel and drive it where you want.
