Dealing with separation after twenty years of marriage.

Man, I can only imagine how tough that is after twenty years. That is not just a separation, it is your whole world shifting. The routines, the quiet moments, even the arguments—they all leave a space behind. It hits hard, and it is okay if you feel like you are just getting by right now.

You do not need to solve everything today. Just take care of the basics. Eat, get some rest, and try to stay active. Some days will be harder than others, but you will get through them. You are not alone in this.

    How are you doing?

Every day is different today I had to slow myself down from trying to do everything all at once. It’s crazy. It’s like I got so much free time and don’t know what to do with it.

Yeah, that’s the mind screw of it. Suddenly all this time and no damn clue what to do with it. You’ve been in grind mode so long, now your brain’s spinning its wheels trying to fill the silence. Don’t rush to fix everything. Do one thing a day that actually feels right, not just busy work. Hell, even just sitting still with a coffee can be enough.

Sometimes it’s crazy. It’s like she’s moving on happily and seems to be doing good and great and I’m over here in the mourning

I think it’s a good idea to try therapy. This is a site that can help you easily find a licensed therapist: https://go.online-therapy.com/aff_c?offer_id=2&aff_id=5259

In addition, trying new hobbies to expand your social circle can help you focus on fulfilling your life.
